Home and recovering

Still a little out of it and nauseous so this is going to be short...

Surgery was today, I didn't get to a chance to talk to my doctor so all of this is coming from my husband. I have several unanswered questions especially about #3 and I will hopefully get to talk to both my ob and my RE in the next several days about everything.

1) Tied left tube - tried to remove it but it was too connected to the left ovary. Will probably have to have it removed when we are done TTC.

2) Right tube looked fine for now.

3) Found endo. They removed what they could but may need drug therapy for 3-6 months before we can continue.

Going back to bed now...

  1. Hang in there. This is a hard time for you but the good news is you have one child so your body knows how to do this!! I don't have any advice just a heartfelt wish that things turn around for you ASAP!! Here from ICLW#112.

  2. I am sorry to hear you were under the knife, but I hope it's worth it. I am in 3 week lull after experiencing an ectopic. (After IVF!) I am thinking I would like to do a lap next myself. It just plain old SUCKS. It does bring up fears for the next time around, for sure.

Visting from ICLW, but come visit me any time. Feel better soon.

  3. I'm so sorry about your ectopic -- I have had 2 and it is no fun at all.

I'm glad your surgery seems to have gone ok... I hope you are able to rest up and plan your next steps. Best of luck to you.
